Kids and Youth at City Church Sheffield
We have all ages in together on a Sunday, and during the week we have age-specific activities for newborns to teenagers:
Under 5s
MiniKidz is for children aged 0-5 and their parents and carers. There are craft activities, stories from the Bible, songs, puppets, snacks, lots of playing, and it's all completely free of charge. It's also a great opportunity for adults to meet new friends and chat over coffee and cake. You can just turn up at any of the following groups, or get in touch for more info:
Jubilee MiniKidz: Monday 10.00am-11.30am at the Jubilee Centre
Bradway MiniKidz: Tuesday 10.00am-11.30am at Bradway Community Centre
Shirecliffe MiniKidz: Friday 10.00am-11.30am at Shirecliffe Community Centre
* All 3 MiniKidz groups meet in term time only
Dads and Kids
Life can be hectic. In between work, school, socialising and family life, it can sometimes be hard for dads to find time to spend with their children. But Dads and Kids solves this problem with a super fun-filled 2 hours on a Saturday morning, for you to spend some quality time with your kids, meet other dads over coffee and a sausage sandwich.
Running from 10am until 12pm once a month on a Saturday, the event gives mums a bit of a break and dads quality time to spend with their kids. Sometimes it's for dads and pre-school kids, based at the Jubilee Centre. Sometimes we go out and about and dads and kids of any age are welcome.
5-11s
Kids Life is for all children of primary school age and meets every other Friday at 6pm at the Jubilee Centre for one hour. There are games, Bible stories and a chance to get to know God better.
Check out our calendar to find out when Kids Life is next meeting.
Youth
FUEL is for 11 to 18-year-olds who are looking to spend some time with a group of friendly teenagers who are on a journey in learning to know and love God. The aim is to encourage and support young people as they navigate their teenage years, deepening their faith in God and enabling them to follow Jesus in their everyday life.
FUEL meets on Tuesday evenings during term-time. Our programme runs over a four-week cycle that includes social events, talks, and small groups - these happen at The Jubilee Centre and in homes around the city.
